Jonathon Stabler the nephew of Elliot Stabler and the prodigy of the family becoming detective at 20 and joining svu aged 28 working along side his uncle and his partner Olivia Benson. He had wanted to be a cop since he was a child because his uncle was his hero helping protect the people of New York.
His parents were murdered when he was a teenager which left him with a sense of emptiness which lead to drugs, gangs and nearly ending up in prison until Elliot pulled him out, getting him a place in the academy and helped save him. But when Jonathon begins to fall for his uncles partner he pushes his feelings away which begins to push him back into the darkness.
But when Olivia tells him she feels the same will she be able to save him before it's too late.
