"Yeah it fit perfect" I said fixing the cap on my head this is the moment I've been waiting for graduation is right around the corner, so as my birthday

Imma be 18 grown well I'm already grown but I'm saying legal grown I can do my own thang I don't have to have Roc around telling me what to do. The lady started taking my senior portraits I was in the middle because my last name start with a J

I got up took off the cap and gown in passed it to her I just wished my mom or dad was here to see me take these pictures and to also see me graduate in the next month. Seeing other people parents here to support them make me so mad Roc ain't even here to see me he still mad about that Key situation he call himself giving me the silent treatment

I don't know how long he plan to keep this up but he needs to stop and be here for me

"Okay thank you" I told the lady

I got up from the stool and went out the door I had to wake up early on this Saturday morning to take these portraits

Standing outside I waited for Teda to get finish that'll mean Yanni would just be pulling up to take hers cause her last name starts with a R. I wish I had a car because I'm so impatient I hate waiting

"Yeah Imma call you but if you come by I won't call you okay?" I turned to see Teda talking to some boy she walked off and looked at me "Girl Ian calling his ugly ass I got a whole nigga" she laughed "Come on"

"He must got your number or something?" I ask following her to the car

"Girl I gave him the wrong number but you know I had to play it off like I gave him my real number so he could leave me alone you know how this shit go" she shrugged

I got in the passenger seat I made sure to put my seat belt on tight cause she can't drive, one time she almost ran us in the ditch

"I gotta stop by somewhere before I take you straight home is that okay?" she ask putting on some more lipgloss

"And where is this somewhere?" I side eyed her

"To see this dude he going to give me some money to get my nails done you know how that goes"

"You a fucking player you know that right? and I thought you and Roc had something going on"

"Look here best don't hate the player hate the game Roc still with ugly ass Skylar he told me so we have nothing going till he throw that bitch away other than that I'm straight thugging" she smiled

She pulled up at some blue house where there were a lot of dudes standing on the porch that made me scrunch up my face cause why y'all just standing there ain't got no jobs or something?

"Come on come with me" she said
