"Miss Xia, why don't you tell me directly what motives you have."

Even with a beautiful woman in his arms, Bai Zhe's heart remained unstirred. She was very obviously approaching him with intention, which could only mean she was hiding something.

She was just like him.

Fengguang dug her head into his chest. "Motive? Of course, it's because I like you."

This wasn't the first time Bai Zhe had been confessed to but this was the first time he had received such an illogical confession. As a result, this made him further believe that her words were a lie. Bai Zhe was and would never agree to be a simple plaything.

"So this is one of the miss's love games?"

"If you want to label it as a game, that's fine. After all, since it's you, I can play this game for the rest of my life."

"Miss Xia..."

"You're a warm, gentleman, Bai Zhe. I want to steal you from Song Mo and make you my man. Of course, for equality's sake, I would be yours as well."

Her words were full of temptation and Bai Zhe put an arm around her waist.

Fengguang lightly kissed the corner of his lips. "Call me Fengguang. Darling would be fine too."

"...Fengguang." Bai Zhe appeared expressionless. "Can you get off from me yet?"

Originally, to avoid being pushed away, she had wrapped both her legs around his waist with all of her weight pressed against him. Not to mention, her soft body was unintentionally touching his danger zone. Bai Zhe had excellent self-control but he too, was a man; a normal, well-bodied man.

Fengguang hugged him, revealing a sly smile. "I spent all of today dressing myself up and I still haven't eaten anything. I'm hungry. You should take me out to eat. Taking care of your hungry girlfriend is part of your responsibilities as a boyfriend."

Bai Zhe didn't refute her one-sided proclamation of labeling him as her boyfriend. After all, until after his plan succeeds, he wouldn't argue with her.

With one arm around her waist and one arm lifting up her bottom, Bai Zhe made his way step by step to his car. Fengguang still had her head buried into his neck. At this moment, she felt great and continued breathing onto his skin which caused Bai Zhe's arms to tighten around her.

After she was placed into the passenger seat, Bai Zhe couldn't help but notice her bare feet.

Fengguang was seated inside the car while Bai Zhe was still standing outside when she suddenly pulled on his tie, pulling him downwards and she said softly into his ear, "Darling, do me a favor. Near the tree up ahead, I've hidden something, can you get it for me?"

Troublesome.

Bai Zhe wordlessly said this in his heart but still went to the tree she had pointed out. Behind the tree was a box. He had no interest in looking at what was in the box and directly handed it to Fengguang once he returned to the car.

"Thank you," Fengguang politely said. She opened the box and inside, were a pair of white flats. She placed them on the floor and slipped into them. She then let out a comfortable sigh. "Indeed, these are so comfortable... Hm? What is it? Why do you keep staring at me?"

Bai Zhe quietly shifted his gaze and started the car. With his glasses as a cover, it was hard to discern the expression in his eyes.

"I thought that miss wouldn't wear something so cheap."

"Hm... They might not match with the clothes I'm wearing but it's not like I'm going to some fancy banquet and I'm not wearing them in front of strangers so dressing comfortably is more important."

In other words, in front of someone she knows, and in personal circumstances, she can wear whatever she wants.

But there was another way of looking at it which Bai Zhe bluntly and coldly said aloud. "It's also not a presentable item."

"That's not right," Fengguang said as she leaned her head onto his shoulder. Only in this position was she able to see his face in the front rearview mirror. "The more precious something is, the more you want to hide and make sure no one else is able to see it. That's how I feel towards you. Bai Zhe, you're my most precious item."

Bai Zhe's heart skipped a beat.
