I was talking to jay when Tay came over to me
"Wsp" he said bluntly we both did that Wsp nod thing
"Carlos I got sum fo you" tay said with black eyes

I heard two shots go off and everything went black and all I could hear was the mumbled sound or azariah screaming my name

I stood there in shock until I heard another round of shots ... I looked down and seen riah laying on the floor with blood everywhere, my ears started ringing
And I punched tay .
We started fighting and the police officers pulled us off eachother and slammed us to the ground
"It wasn't him" pookie yelled
They cuffed me and him and took us outside . As we walked out paramedics started running in .
"We're not gonna take you to jail but we're gonna put you in the back of this car until you calm down" the officer said
I nodded and got in da car he closed the door and I saw them roll azariah and Carlos out on stretchers
They put them both in the ambulances and I saw them take off down the road
"Can I get out now I'm coo"
"Are you sure sir" he said as the other police car pulled off
"Yes"
He let me out the car and took the cuffs off I walked over to pookie and riah mom
I saw pookie a riah mom sobbing, "it go be okay they go be straight and this fashoo go get taken car of" o said with black eyes
"Let's go to the hospital" I directed them to the car
We got inna car and drove there
"Imma make that nigga pay if he killed my babies" riah mom cried
I walked in and straight to the desk "ayo you got sum patients in here by the names of Carlos and azariah"
"Last names" she said
"Martinez and princton"
"Oh yes they are both in surgery right now and azariah was fully awake when we brought her in but she is under anesthesia right now so she will be a lil wonky when she wakes up" I nodded
"What about carlos" I said
"Well from what I have here it looks like Carlos lost a lot of blood and the bullet went pretty deep in one of his arteries but he should be fine if everything goes accordingly"
"Ok thank you" she nodded
I went and sat down next to riah mom "she's gonna be fine"
"What about the baby" I shrugged
"Family of azariah princton" the doctor said
"That's us" we said walking up to her
"Well azariah is fine for the most part , she is sleep right now tho . If y'all wanted to go back and see her" the doctor said
"Thank you but what about the baby" riah mom said
"Oh yes , the baby is fine as well !" She smiled
"Oh oh okay thank so much" the doctor nodded
She directed us towards the room

I woke up seeing my mom , pookie , and jay sitting around me , i stared at them for a second and started sobbing
"What's wrong" my mom asked
"Is carlos okay ?" I cried harder at the thought
"Yea he's okay" jay said
"You promise 🥺" he nodded
I whipped my tears "is the baby ok?"
"Yes" my mom responded
I nodded and looked around "imma kill that bitch i swear"
"Watch yo damn mouth"
"Sorry mama but I had to say it"
She kept quiet and sat in the little chair next to the bed
Pookie hugged me "you had me scared" I laughed
"It's not funny" she sniffled
"Yes it is" I hugged her back
We heard a knock on the door and seen Kells come in with black eyes
"Aye mom and pookie can y'all go wait in the hallway real quick" they nodded and went into the hallway
"Did you handle it ?" Jay asked carlos
"Na his pussy ass in custody but imma get his ass when he out"
"Naa imma handle that" i said bluntly
"You must be buggin" they said in unison
"Naa i just gotta be the one to kill this nigga" I smirked
"You crazy" we all laughed
"Ian crazy" I waved dem off
"Cap asl" we heard a knock on the door
The doctor walked in "visiting hours are over but one person can stay with you if you feel safe"
I looked at them "Kells go stay" we nodded and jay walked out da room wit the nurse "Byee" I heard my mom and pookie yell as they walked out
"You ugly as hell" Kells said plopping down on the chair next to me
"Sthu" I mugged him and started feeling my eyes get heavy
"You better not go to sleep" he hit me inna head softly
"I'm not I'm just resting my eyes" I said fully dosing off
