Alright for the first time in a while, I'm getting 3 days off work in a row. Bad for pay BUT I need the break. I'm so mentally detached from life that I'm literally forgetting what I've said 5 seconds after I said it. And I'm not exaggerating either. Even my gf has noticed I'm more out of it than usual. Partly why I haven't updated in a while. I keep forgetting this site exist and can't remember it long enough to open the laptop. Heck, even when I did open my laptop the other day, I somehow ended up on animal jam instead. Animal jam. I HAVEN'T PLAYED THAT SINCE MIDDLE OF HIGH SCHOOL. I downloaded both versions to do a quick check if my accounts still existed and somehow ended up playing mini games and dress up on it for like 5 hours. The only thing that dragged me off was my gf offering to pay me to make her rice. Also sometimes when I remember it, it's time for bed. Like right now. I need to go to sleep for work tomorrow but I just remembered the site exist. So yeah. All this to say I'm sorry about no updates. I will try very hard to just finish the fic in those 3 days (well, more likely 2. Day 1 is going towards celebrating my gf's birthday.)

After my gf woke up from the nap, I talked to her about the plot twist and we realized she misunderstood it. She's still a little sad that basically the first two games don't matter but she still likes it. 

Do any of y'all like the ending to v3? I've noticed I only ever see people hating on it. I was excited to see my gf get to that point because I thought she'd get interested in it but instead she had to take a NAP to process all that. Like the game is just sitting there open, not finishing the trial yet, while she's laying in bed. Idk I thought the ending was good and different. 

Well,,, that's embarrassing. I never got that chapter out. But we have moved everything! Laptop is on the bed with me. Here is to hoping for a better life! 

I'm going to try getting out a chapter tonight but I'm moving tomorrow. I'm gonna try holding off packing my laptop till I'm going to bed. But it might get in the way and I have to go to bed at a decent time. So we will see. 

Someone (maybe me) should write a fanfic where Kaede or someone else uses the first blood perk motive to actually leave and get help. But then they find out the world loves this show and everyone did it willingly and now they've gotta cope or something.
          
          Also one for the resurrecting a student thing in chapter 3. The monokubs make everyone believe they brought someone back but actually it's just someone brainwashed into believing they are that person.
          
          Let me know if these already exist. 

I talked to her more about it cause it was really hard to believe. Apparently what she was thinking is it'd be cool if Kaede got murdered and then Shuichi finds her body and then the protag switches. But still, she said it originally in a vague way so it counts. 

NO WAY. As she was playing the first chapter of v3, she jokingly said "Kaede's gonna be the one to die" and IMMEDIATELY followed it up with "imagine if a game did do that and switched to a new protagonist." ANFKSBKFBD THERE IS NO WAY.
          
          LIKE LEGIT, I'M WONDERING IF SHE SAW SOMETHING SOMEWHERE. I mean I guess it isn't too far a stretch for someone to think it's a cool idea before it happened. But it's hard to believe this was by complete chance. On the other hand, she REALLY seemed confused when it came time to pick who the culprit was. And kept saying "huh?" a bunch of times when Shuichi and Kaede had the little one on one talk about him needing to find the truth. And sat up in surprise when it finally clicked that that's exactly what happened.

So my gf would make jokes throughout her time playing and ended up accidentally making a lot of accidental predictions.
          
          -jokes that hiyoko and Ibuki die in the same chapter (thought hiyoko as the killer tho) 
          -jokes mikan hangs neckomaru (she actually hung Ibuki)
          -jokes teruteru killed togami (just because she hates him. She actually believed it was nagito.)
          -teruteru's execution is getting cooked or something. It was a joke about mondo becoming butter because she kept comparing teruteru's hair to mondo's. This is also before she found out he's a cook.
          -someone killing someone to stop that persom from killing others (teruteru to an extent. She was saying this as a "it would be a cool thing to happen")
          -randomly said "so nekamaru is gonna kill gundham" but it was the other way around. It didn't seem she even remembered saying it when I brought it up, lol. So it was random even for her.
          
          We started joking that she's Yasuhiro. Predicts the future but is only right 30℅ of the time, lol.
          
          She will start v3 soon. So far her only correct prediction is Angie dying in the third chapter.
