Hello all! My name is Caitlin and I've wanted to be an author since I was a little girl. Unfortunately I am far better at thinking and dreaming than actually writing. I don't feel my words do my ideas justice and so I am here solely to fix this problem - all comments on how to make my writing better are highly appreciated! What I have written so far is a work in progress so please let me know if you see any plot holes or inconsistencies, grammar or spelling mistakes, etc and I will try to fix these errors as I continually edit. Thanks!

Besides writing, I also enjoy painting, drawing, playing the piano, learning to play the guitar, going on long walks, people watching, pretending that I do yoga (when in reality I just read the magazine and stretch once in a great while), and discussing things like philosophy, theology, society, etc. I collect tea sets, pens, journals, boxes, and lava lamps. I love all different kinds of music and literature, nature, coffee, tea, old or interesting architecture, and obscure ideas.

Someday when my writing makes me rich and famous I'm going to build my own castle with a fancy garden outside, hidden passageways everywhere, and a gloriously huge library. Befriend me now and maybe I'll invite you there - or just take the open invention to read my novel! 

In truth, it is far more likely I will live in a small cabin in the woods so I recognize the fact that this is all a silly pipe-dream. But my writing is the closest thing to reality this and similar dreams will ever come. That's the real reason I want to be an author. And its one of the major themes of my story - human thought and creativity transcends reality. Our perspective on the world around us determines absolutely everything we experience and matters far more than what actually happens to us throughout our lives.
