Hello everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I initially started the project in 2012 from a dream. During that time I was learning to write screenplays at night school. After completing the timeless ghost screenplay I decided to spend some time, "7 years", trying to mix the traditional storytelling manuscript with the screenplay. I wanted to try and do something different and make the story more visual to the reader. I separated the screenplay's three act system and created a three part novella series, which I also adjusted into three acts for each of the books from the one screenplay, whilst also switching from third person in book one to a female first person in book two as a diary of events written by Isabelle. I did this  mainly because Isabelle's character was limited in this first book. I wanted to tie her in with all the other characters from book one. Reeds Journal was challenging. I had to try and think like Isabelle, definitely would love female feedback to that story, which I might post on here as part two. I also put the three books together as a large novel and tagged it as volume one. I gave the book covers a lot of thought and time and worked with graphic designers to create visuals that complimented the storylines, the idea was as someone reads the story they could look back at the covers and see the story woven into the cover designs. I finished the project in 2020 and no sooner I had put the series onto Amazon, I got hit with Covid, which turned into long Covid, this disrupted my sensory abilities/extreme fatigue etc, also affected any promotions/marketing. I was pretty much useless for the last year. I am still pushing for recovery, trying to build up some physical and mental strength to write again. I always had the longterm vision of the series being three volumes consisting of nine novellas. I hope you enjoy the first instalment of Leo and Isabelle's journey. Feedback is always appreciated.
