Lots to say! I've done some updating. If my book has been on your shelf or your to-do list, I think now is a great time to give it a chance!
Firstly, thanks to feedback, here, and from others, I came to the decision to edit and rearrange the first four chapters.

Largely, I felt the first chapter was a poor introduction to the book, and I wanted to get straight to the story hook in the first three chapters rather than the first four. My original first chapter has sort of been reconstituted in chapter four, where I think it makes more sense. Hopefully, by then, the reader will want to know more about Caleb, and hopefully the mundane details will make a bit more sense, psychologically.
Secondly, I removed chapter titles. They were not well-thought out, as I didn't originally write the book with chapter titles. As I first envisioned them uploading to Wattpad, I wanted them to deliver information about the story to readers as things to look forward to - but I didn't do a very good job with them, frankly. I may reconsider, but now - with the reorganizing of the first few chapters - I really hope the story will speak for itself. Now, we launch right into what makes this book weird and hopefully interesting in chapter one.
Why is it a great time to give my book a chance? I've checked my schedule, and releasing one chapter every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, I'll be done uploading the entirety of the novel by July 3, in just three weeks - certainly enough time to enjoy this book at your own pace and not get too frustrated by the final chapters not being uploaded. :)
And, that means we'll be completed as submissions open up for the 2020 Wattys!
