I've dabbled in writing genres like fantasy, dystopian sci-fi, realistic fiction, martial arts, etc. Due to my background as a martial artist, most of the stories I wrote were related to martial arts in some way, shape or form like my novel Priya's Journey (formerly known as The Monastery), which I finished when I was 14 years old.

However, I've also discovered my calling for realistic fiction involving South Asian characters. I'm Indian and noticed the lack of South Asian representation and pride in media and grew up surrounded by a lot of South Asians who dislike and are jealous each other and compete with each other to see "who's the best", when in reality we should be standing together and loving ourselves and our culture. Therefore, I've decided that I want to contribute positively to the community and spread some kindness. 

One way in which I am doing this is writing novels involving likeable, relatable, cool, unique, non-stereotypical South Asian characters and plotlines that promote cultural pride and self-esteem and deal with real life issues that actual South Asians go through, such as "Spice and Solace" the novel that I am currently working on.

I hope that I have brought positivity to the world and will keep working to spread kindness!
