Remedios Dorio

Born in the Philippines and now living in the Netherlands. I am married. I like writing. I am eleven years old when I wrote my first short story, pity I had not saved it. That short story of mine gave me more inspiration because one of my friend let her father read it and that man said to my friend that I did not wrote the story but just copied it. Way back 
1958 I applied as a scriptwriter for soap opera and the production manager because I am just twelve years old at that time said no way I could be a writer because I am very young and no experience in life, my answer to him was, writing is not experience but a fantasy especially fiction and I was given a chance, the begun of my career in the radio as a scriptwriter that lasted until 1972. Allied Broadcasting Center, DYRH-DYRP, Bacolod City and Iloilo City respectively. The language of the writing was in Hiligaynon, my mother tongue. 1980 I came to the Netherlands, married a Dutch and since then a citizen of this country. I am retired and decided to write again, this time writing with fantasy and life experience. **Remy Dorio
