Hi, everybody,

Really sorry I haven't been able to update any of the stories as regularly as usual. I wanted to talk about my mental health.

I've been feeling pretty good this week. I've managed to sleep fine, eat fine, and exist absolutely fine - better than last week, and the week before that.

I've worked out why, and it's horrible to say it. I haven't been writing.

          	Writing is hurting me.

I love my works. I believe in every one of them. I don't want to create the impression that this is something I just churn out. But I think I need to step away for a bit. I'll be taking a break over the festive period. I need time to work out if I want to keep doing this and if it really is helping anymore, or just creating more harmful problems in my brain.

Remember to talk to your friends and family. Remember to ask them how they feel. Remember to be yourself whenever possible. And, please, remember that it's OK not to be OK. My messages are always open.

I'll be alright - just need a breather.

Merry Christmas (if you celebrate), Happy New Year, and I hope you all have the best festive season.

          	Eilidh

@TG-Lass glad to read that you are aware of yourself enough to know when to stop and rest. I wish you a merry Christmas and Happy Hogmanay. Do what makes you stronger and happier. Enjoy time with those you love.

Oh, I'm so happy. (M) Ollie is now also available on Kindle, so that non UK gals like me can read it without paying awful money just for the delivery. Didn't had the chance to read the first part so far. Just bought it and will now get lost in it.

It was so lovely to read about Molly's first week. Thanks for your effort to publish this. I love your style of writing.

Hey everyone!

A kind reader suggested that I try Scribble Hub, so I have done just that! I don't know what the rules are on uploading stories in multiple locations, but part 1 of 'Rewired', my latest sci-fi flavoured transformation tale, is now available to read on there!

If you want it posted here as well (and such a thing is allowed), I'll definitely do so!

Trying to branch out is fun. So many ideas of trans-affirming stories to tell - the main problem is keeping them all in line!

@TG-Lass it's allowed. Some of my favorite authors publish on both sites.
            What's your handle on scribblehub?

Today marks 8 days since the official release of '(M)Ollie'! I thought it would be cool to point out that the book has now been out for the same duration as the story itself! Neat, huh?

I'm working on different projects to keep battling my own inferiority complex, very much coming with the territory of my identity! Hope to have something to share with you soon!

@ TG-Lass this is awesome. Congrats for the release and best luck with the sales!
Do you plan to release it on Kindle or some other digital platform, too?

Have you considered publishing on scribblehub? I find better writing there overall. Your stories would be well received there. There's too much drivel on Wattpad, and it takes too long to find what I like to read.

TG-Lass

@BothellRoyal I honestly hadn't heard of it before you mentioned it there! I'll check it out!

Good morning!

I hope you've enjoyed 'Life Imitates Art'. It's been quite the experience to try and construct a story that circles the same key themes of gender identity and transition in society.

You may have seen 'Who Is Max?' appear on your page. You might have read the opening. I posted this to gain an idea of how people felt the new character was shaping up, but the idea itself was half-baked, so I've unpublished it.

I'm quite the perfectionist with writing. I need to have clear goals in everything I write, but I also want it to feel different. I don't write anything too graphic or extreme, and this stretches my creative abilities to keep it clean and keep it fresh. The way Maxine's story was heading there was not going to accomplish either. I'll take it back to the lab. I'll rework it, and it will (eventually) be back.

Now that I have your attention, I can share some news! I can't reveal everything yet, but publication day for '(M)Ollie' is getting ever closer! I hope the finished product is everything that the original was and more! I'll let you know once it is available!

So in the meantime, if you haven't already, enjoy 'Feeling Of Missing Out' and 'Life Imitates Art', two stories I feel follow different fundamental ideas for the trans community - the longing for a time machine and the slow disappearance down a rabbit hole, respectively.

Just felt I had to explain why something else has disappeared from my page. Sometimes, something feels like a great idea when written down. It's only on the re-read a day or two later that I realise that it's not my best work. You guys and girls deserve my best work! Something Molly can be proud of!

          Thanks for reading!
          TG-Lass

DanniDeLuca

@ TG-Lass that's very important that your feel satisfied with what you publish. So far the story about Maxine was very cute and I would love to hear more of it. Regrading (M) Ollie just started rereading some stories and happy to hear that it will be soon available. Thanks for the update!

Hello, I am curious about how your writing for publication is going? I am assuming there may be editing and changes and if there is a possible publication date for your book. I wish you well and hope the process of getting the book out is enjoyable and positive. I wish you well and hope your writing continues to develop. I look forward to reading the book or your next writing here whichever comes first.

TG-Lass

@designsforthetimes Hi! I am pleased to let you know that my book is closer to publication by the day! It will definitely happen, likely to be early 2024.

As for any other writing, I've tried a couple of things. Nothing has felt worthy of going out to the world. I'll maybe come across something soon. For now, I'm mainly working and reworking Molly's arc to create the best possible saga. So many ideas, so little time. I go back and forth on preferring the first and second arcs, liking details of some and disliking others. Rest assured, I'm still working away at it!

Hey everyone!

An alternative arc for Molly has been written. I was reflecting in it, and found some ways to tell it differently.

Molly - The Public Enemy is a very different story, using some of the best bits from A Social Anomaly and a bit of Grafton Girls. Most importantly, I have removed the most upsetting aspect of this story, so it's an alternative arc suitable for those who felt uncomfortable with the original. It has more of a focus on bullying and discrimination, the like of which the third original story explored.

Please let me know what you think of it!

Also, the original (M)Ollie story is still in the works for being officially published. It's still early in the process, but progress is being made!

          Love you all,
          E (TG-Lass) x

@TG-Lass thanks for that. I’ll have a read as I really enjoy your writing and characters.

@designsforthetimes I appreciate the feedback. Think of it as more of a sassy acceptance. All mention of the *major event* from A Social Anomaly has been scrubbed. It's more of an overcoming bullying story.

Happy to take suggestions on alternative titles too. I'll rework it if necessary :)

@TG-Lass not sure the title and description of this moves the story in a direction I would be happy to read? Am I miss reading this?
