Hi!

Honestly, I don't really know what to write here.

Many writers share what they like to write, and many readers what they like to read. Nearly everybody sums up their favourite books, films, series and celebrities, and some people mention how they like to spend their free time when they're not reading or writing.

Yet I don't feel like doing any of that, I don't feel like it adds something. Yes, it shows you who I am as a person, but would that change the way you look at me as a writer?

I sure do hope not. Reading somebody's writing because you like the author is like watching a film just because that one actor you love plays in it. True, watching your favourite actor is fun, but there is a big chance you might miss out on the real essence of the film, the phenomenal other actors or the beautiful cinematography.

Read for the writing, not for the writer.

Wow, that got really deep really quickly...

I suppose that's enough philosophical blabbering for now.

Thanks a lot for making it all the way down here!
