There is a lot I want to share today, and I am not sure it's the right time for any of this. I received my sticker for the ONC Shortlist 2024. "Ward of Storms" made it through to the Shortlist, and I am so proud of Rui's story. A mirror to my own challenges with cancer and the hope for the future where I can travel again and experience those wonderful places. Rui has her HEA; I continue to endure.

"Ward of Storms" almost missed the first deadline and ended up a Round One Winner. It came through to Longlist and then continued to surprise me as it passed onto the Shortlist. I almost didn't finish the story. My other entry, "My King of Flowers," finished a week before and was ready to submit when I learned of a miscarriage. It shattered my heart.

So we endure by writing stories that must meet the deadlines. We tell stories that fill out our senses and make us feel again. When you read "Ward of Storms," I hope you'll understand, appreciate, and empathize with the journey it took to endure.

I’m so sorry to hear that. I hope you take all the time you need to recover mentally and emotionally. I send many wishes to you. Thank you for pushing forward to give such a wonderful book. I’ll be sure to give it my full attention and support! ❤️

"Ward of Storms" made it to the shortlist for the ONC Contest! ^_^ Thanks so much, peeps! I'm very grateful and excited to see how this goes. Have a great summer , and see everyone in a few weeks with the results. I'm going back to the permafrost ❄️ in my other story. :) See you then!

Thanks for the congratulations on the ONC contest friends! I appreciate it and am happy for those who made the list too! I don't check this site as much as I do Inkitt. So it's better to contact me there. I have been keeping busy by writing new content for two new stories there and invite you to visit soon. useranme (honeylocust).

Hi friends! Hope everyone is having a fantastic weekend! Guess what—I'm moving! My works are already available on Inkitt (username: honeylocust) with a few exclusive goodies not found here. ( Wattpad, you know what you did.) Anyways, "Reed of the Willow" just started Volume 2 for free, and there's a paid tier for advanced copies. You can also get audiobooks for the current volumes on my website and through Ko-fi. Check it out!

@SilviaKrpatova Thanks Silvia. It's kind of a long story, but I don't feel like getting into it. I have writing to focus on for a new story. :)

@honey-locust I don't know what Wattpad did, but all the best over on Inkitt!

@Juleove I will be around DL, this Wattpad account will be saving my name, but I will no longer be hosting my works here. :)
