          I will say this for the rest of eternity if I have to: no matter where on the spectrum you may lie, you make our world better. no letter is silent—to those who love and even those who don't, I will forever support your journey. be proud, and be LOUD.
          
          to be proud is to fight for freedom. to fight for human rights everywhere. 
          
          I try to be open about global current events & my beliefs, & it's been too long for me to speak on this issue. but Queer Pride and liberation go hand-in-hand.
          
          the occupation of Palestine is sickening. nothing—no geopolitical opinion or economic prospect—can justify the genocide that we are seeing today. 
          
          I'm sensitive to the fact that both Palestinian & Israeli citizens are suffering as a result of the current conflict. & it saddens me to see that every day, people are trying to justify the violence perpetrated by the Israeli government and the exploitation of the Palestinian people by Hamas. it's devastating that people overlook these atrocities for fear of losing political gains or offending a religious creed (which NEVER dictated the violence).
          
          to all followers of the Islamic & Jewish faiths, especially those with ties to Gaza, I am sorry for the strife that you are enduring and the people you may have lost. 
          
          as we go into June, I hope to remind everyone that we are proud because of oppression. we fight for the right to be proud in spite of oppression. 
          
          it is more than the rainbow. it is our battle to exist without the threat of violence & hatred. we celebrate Queer Pride, because humans deserve the right to live as they are.
          
          we cannot overlook Gaza when fighting for that right. I hope that we work to protect the foundation of who we are.

my friends how do you cope when a guy gives you mixed signals for nearly a year and then you start to develop and acknowledge/accept your feelings THE SAME DAY that he mentions offhandedly that he has a girlfriend and they’ve been dating for the past 3 months and now you’re not sure if he even wants to be your friend anymore ahahaha :/ …
