9-1-1 fans who have seen the latest episode, in s5 The Hero Complex Eddie has a moment at his father’s retirement party. He’s basically telling his dad that he wants to be a better person and parent for Chris and for himself. He didn’t want turn out like his dad who was never there or always out responsibility on his kids. 
          
          
          What the hell are the writers doing?? Eddie is becoming like his father even worse. 
          
          Are they trying to send him to a psych ward? 
          
          Go rewatch the hero complex s5 then watch s7 ep 9. It makes no sense how the writers did that to him in two seasons?!
