“The Great Collapse, that’s what they called it. The First Gens, people that survived humankind’s last world war. We nearly wiped ourselves out, our fate was extinction.
But something strange happened, and the twelve million remaining humans awoke to a new world. We don’t know what happened, but it involved first contact with an advanced race known as the Akhataree.
