@AmaranthimTalon as the writer, I’d suggest reading the collection. People generally like the collection more. I personally consider the collections to be cannon over the book. The characters are a bit softer in the collection but in a good way and there is a lot more lore to explore and a lot more character interaction. , and the story has an actual ending. Honestly I think you’d like the stories I’d you liked the book. Whatever you decide thank you for reading and commenting! I really do appreciate it!

@starrfallknightrise I love it!! They look awesome, and actually softer and kinder than I gave them credit for. I was imagining them quite darker. Will there be more stories? The novel was great. I am a bit leery of reading the collection because I am not sure how it fits in with what I had read. You have a good writing career ahead of you. Good luck!

So I have a very weird question: would it be ok if I print your collections out, fix whatever spelling or odd capitalization in them then bind it into a physical book? It would only be for myself of course.

Hello, i have something to ask. How should i start your Empyrean Iris story? because there's 5 of em. The first four which is the collection part 1-4 then theres that only "Empyrean Iris", which of them should o start with though? the Empyrean Iris Collection or just the Empyrean Iris? that's all i can ask and i hope you could reply quick so that i can start reading :D

Came upon a couple of the shorts on reddit recently which brought me here. I read the novelised version first, which is one of the books that have most captured me and kept me reading. Now going back through some of the early shorts, I'm noticing some inconsistencies. So the question here is: which would be considered canonical in this universe, and at some point do the shorts go from being semi-canon to full-fledged in line with the novel?
Lastly, can we expect a sequel at some point?
