i have a message from wattpad in my notifications tab saying “some of your stories use languages that aren’t fully supported on wattpad” despite all of my books being in english, and the other languages that my characters do speak are included in the list of supported languages. except trigedasleng, which is a fictional language. plus i provide english translations for everything. so i’m very confused ???

sooo i was going to finish the first draft of sweet melody chapter 17 today, but a funnel cloud formed in my neighborhood last night (beginnings of a tornado that hasn’t touched down) and things are CHAOS. 20-40 year old trees are down, power lines are on the ground, and a neighbor lost the whole back portion of their roof. luckily my house is okay and we didn’t lose anything. the community has been great helping to move debris out of the road and posting people’s lost items on our facebook group to help locate the owners. we have been out of power all day and it apparently won’t come back until around 10pm (it’s currently about 3) so that’s fun. but things could be worse so i’m glad it’s just power. 
          
          the scariest part was that absolutely no sirens went off last night so nobody took cover. meanwhile, trees were falling on houses and onto power lines, causing them to spark. scary stuff but i’m glad everyone is alright. 
          
          this was a long-winded way of saying that the update is coming, it just might be pushed back to later tomorrow or potentially friday. it will be a longer one — i haven’t reached the episode content yet (it’s all original scenes so far) and it’s already at 2.4k words. teehee.
