Chapter 49: Take Me Home

And we're back to being․․․us.

It's been over a week since I knocked on his door with a clear mind and hope, over a week since he shared his darkness with me, since he finally opened up to me without holding back.

He let me see him at his worst without being afraid to hurt me. And he's raw, damaged, broken, and yet insanely beautiful.

He let me in on the darkness inside him and I've never loved him more than I do right now.

There are no life-changing secrets between us anymore, no regrets, fear, and lies, it's just us...

Unfiltered, fearless, free, and madly in love.

Kai and I, we can't get enough of each other.  We have a couple of months' pent-up frustration, sexual tension, and catching up to do both inside and outside of the bed.

So yeah, we are like Chip and Dale, wherever we go, we go there together. It would be annoying if I watched us from outside our little purple bubble, but eh, I don't care.

I love being attached to him all the time. Besides, now that I'm not a virgin anymore, I want to have sex with him all the time! It's almost crazy how much I really think about it during the day. My guess is, it's because of him and the way he makes my heart race with his serious gaze, burning touch, and breathless whispers. And well, his incredible skills too.

Okay! Moving on!

So yeah, these days it's either me in his bed, or him in mine. We then have breakfast together, he takes me to work or to school, we make out in his car until I can't feel my lips, and only then do we go our separate ways. He picks me up later, we stumble home drunk on each other, impatient to get each others' clothes off as soon as possible.

Good thing we've decided to move in together next month.

We'd do it sooner, but because we've decided to live in the studio, there are some things we need to take care of before the move - get new pieces of furniture because he has almost none, move our stuff there, change the place of the piano he's gotten me for my birthday, and clean up the whole place.

Our friends made a firework show for us when we told them the news. I'm not kidding, they did.

Natalie won't stop talking about how she has played a huge part in getting us back together, and I can't argue with that.

Ian's the only one not so thrilled about us. But he's never seen us together before, he's seen the aftermath of our falling apart, and it's natural that he thinks Kai isn't healthy for me.

I'm sure that once he gets to know him, once he gets to know us, he'll realize how perfect and balanced we are for each other. Because we are.

We are a calming medicine for each other's crazy and I wouldn't want us any other way.
