Golden Guard x Reader: What's Your Answer?

(Y/N)'s POV:

"(Y/N)! I kind of need back up here," Amity yelled, trying to catch her breath

"Oh yeah because they're going to help you!" The blond boy yelled back at her

"THAT WASN'T EVEN DIRECTED AT YOU!" The cotton candy haired girl screeched

My poor ears

"WELL THEY HAVE TO CHOOSE!"

Time seemed to freeze.

I hate this

I hate having to choose, doesn't everyone? Why can't this be like some stupid fanfic where the author just writes something up and everyone goes with it.

Oh hi, didn't notice you there

Um yeah, I'm in a situation right now. So basically, I'm torn between helping two people out right now. So option A is we help Hunter, and option B is we help Amity. This might be easy for some people but here's the thing;

I'm very good friends with Amity, she's helped me when I feel down and would help me when I would have anxiety attacks. I want to help her and her girlfriend, Luz

But than on the other hand there's Hunter, he's been my crush for a while. We're friends, God I hate that word and I wouldn't pass an opportunity to help him. I'm going to be honest here, I'm a hopeless romantic when it comes to my crushes, but at the same time I need to help my friend.

Or there could be an option C...

Should I just leave both of them here? Nah I'm too nice for that.

Do you think he'd like me more if I helped him?

I mean it's plausible but not too probable. It's a bit narcissistic to assume that they like me.

UGH WHY IS THERE OPTIONS?

I snapped back into reality

"(Y/N)? Who do you choose?" I hear King whisper

"I... Well? Ya know" I stutter, King looks like he's done with me and honestly I don't blame him.

"I mean it's obvious you like him but you need to help us. GAH-" I gasp as I realised Hunter has blasted King. Where he went? I have no idea, I was frozen still.

He extends a hand

"Need some help?" They as

"Uh, yeah! Cool, this is fun!" My cheeks heat up God I hate myself. 

"Think you could back me up here?" They whispers.

I try my best to look confident, "Of course." I say, I'm ready to fight.

Amity look defeated

"YOU REALLY CHOSE THAT COMPLETE ASSHOLE OVER YOUR FAMILY?" She was on the verge of tears, "I really thought you wouldn't betray me like everyone else, guess that was just wishful thinking"

"Amity, I-" I start "Shut up"  Her words were venomous, she took the key off her neck. I heard a quite, yet satisfying crack

"Just leave Luz alone." She whispers "I just want her safe." She sounds helpless

"Alrighty, sounds like a deal to me" Hunter says, a bit too happily. He takes the key from Amity and gets his staff out. They start to walk away when he suddenly stops and says "Thank you, I mean it."
