the feeling of loneliness washes over me
as if i am being enveloped by the waves that are crashing down
casting me further and further out into the sea
blackened by the dark of night
am i drowning?
every scream for help is gone unheard
am i wasting what little air i have left in my lungs?
the salty water fills the emptiness inside of me
