The drive home was a blur. I was basically in auto pilot mode. My head was replaying every moment over and over. I was recalling Yoongi's gummy smile, his soft laugh, the way he smelled, how adorable he looked when he chewed. Before I knew it, I was pulling back into the parking lot of my apartment. I took the elevator back up to my apartment and flopped down on my couch. It took everything in me to not text him. Don't do it. Do not.

I decided to just get ready for bed. I had work tomorrow, I couldn't call off again. I laid in bed staring at the ceiling. Half of me wanted to receive a text from Yoongi, the other half didn't. I needed to get some sleep. I hardly slept last night. All I could think of was that meeting for lunch. The anticipation of what might happen or could happen. I closed my eyes and all I could see was Yoongi's eyes staring at me across the dining table. After a few minutes, I finally drifted off to sleep.

The next day felt normal. I got up, took a shower, drank coffee and headed to work. I tried to keep my thoughts solely on my job. But every now and then my thoughts would linger on a certain gummy smile. But I tried my best to ignore any notifications on my phone and the fact I wasn't going to a BTS concert this evening.

I got back home about 5pm in the evening. Threw a tv dinner into the microwave and turned on some Netflix. I shuffled through some shows and just chose to watch one show I'd been watching. The microwave dinged and I went to get my food. As I was in the kitchen, I heard my phone ping. Probably my mom again, or my best friend. I picked up the tv dinner and placed it on the coffee table. I checked my phone. It was from Min Yoongi. My heart leapt into my throat. Here he was, trying to kill me again. It wasn't just a message though, there was an attachment as well. I open the message and a selfie of Yoongi downloaded.

He actually sent me a photo

He actually sent me a photo. He wasn't lying. He was wearing a striped shirt and was smiling the sweetest little smile. I had the biggest grin on my face. I just stared at his eyes, he looked unbelievably gorgeous. He must be getting ready for the show. I poked my finger on the screen, right on his nose. 'Boop.' I said aloud, then laughed at myself. 'I hope I can boop you for real someday.'

'What to write back.' I questioned myself. I wasn't going to compliment him, nope. He gets that all the time. I finally decided to keep it simple. "Good luck with the concert. Don't overexert yourself." That seemed neutral enough. Didn't give away the fact I was drooling over him at all.

I saved the image as his contact photo. I wanted to make it my wallpaper, but I decided that would be reaching too much. I hit play on my Netflix show and tried to pay attention. But my mind wandered. Yoongi thought of me. He thought to send that picture. I then wondered what songs were on the concert's playlist. I'll have to check the show out on Youtube tomorrow. My eyelids became heavy around 10pm. I accidentally fell asleep on the couch while my show played on the tv.

I awake to sunshine beaming through my window, I was in my bed. I must have gotten up in the middle of the night and walked myself to my room. I sat up and stretched my arms, I was off work today. I checked my phone, there was a message from Yoongi. I immediately opened it and rubbed my eyes to read it better. He had sent me something at 3am last night. "Would you like to have a picnic tomorrow?" My heart was racing. It was too early for my heart to be pumping that hard. 'A picnic?' I said out loud to myself. 'That sounds like a date.'

It was almost 9am, I texted him back. He was probably asleep. "I suppose. Shouldn't you be resting after the show?" I hopped out of bed and checked the weather. It was going to be a beautiful fall day. Sunshine and almost seventy degrees. I gathered my clothes and set them in my bathroom to get ready to shower, my phone dinged. Yoongi was indeed up.

"I rested. How does 2pm sound?"

"Sounds fine, want me to bring anything?"

"No, it is all taken care of."

Yoongi then provided me with the address of the park he wanted to visit. It was a smaller park. I knew it well, not many people go to that one too often. Usually everyone wants to visit Central Park. This Park wasn't located in New York City, it was about an hour away. 'I wonder why he wants to go to this one. More secluded?' I asked myself, walking to the bathroom. Time to shower and get ready.

I styled my hair, put on some neutral makeup again. Now what to wear. I chose dark blue skinny jeans, some black ankle boots and cardigan. The cardigan was a chocolatey/beige color, very autumn like. I picked out some accessories. A cute silver necklace with fall-colored leaves dangling from the chain. I sprayed on the same perfume as last time. 'Hope he liked the smell of this the other day.' I shook my head at myself. The hoops I was jumping through for this man was already ridiculous.
