Day 30

Babysitting gone wrong

This one shot is related to Baby Ladybird day 24

Scarecrow had broken out of prison; it had been only a week since Marinette was turned into a baby.

Now all the bats were investigating a crime scene where Scarecrow had been seen the last and of course, it had to be an abandoned warehouse.

The team entered silently Marinette and Damian had gone in first as they were the closest ones.

After entering the building they discovered two things: that Scarecrow wasn't there and it was a trap. The second they slipped through the back entrance a sensor was triggered and enough the same purple toxin that had been sprayed on Marinette was sprayed on the two of them leaving nothing but two babies.

Batman was the next one at the scene and heard a noise towards the back of the building he quietly walked there and found the doors open, not even five feet away were Robin and Ladybird's uniforms laying on the ground with a baby in the middle of each.

Bruce then realised that no one was here after seeing the sensor. It was all a trap to lure them out, and it had worked for the most part after all it only got two of them.

Batman held up a hand to his comm "it was a trap Ladybird and Robin got here first and was sprayed with the child toxin, Red I need two more doses made, finish your patrols and head back to the cave" he said.

With that, he picked up the two babies that were fast asleep and grabbed their suits, and took them back to the batmobile was clicked a button and the back turned into a small bed of sorts.

He placed them down and strapped them in even though the seat belt was far too big on them.

With that, he drove off at crazy speeds and entered the cave where Alfred was waiting with blankets and clothes.

Bruce looked at the two children who had not awakened from the speed of the batmobile, he gently picked them and handed them to Alfred.

"He looks just like you as a baby Master Bruce," Alfred said looking at a sleeping Damian.

Alfred takes the two and places them down on Damian's bed and makes a barrier of pillows before heading back down to the cave.

"I have left the two to sleep in Master Damian's room, is there anything you need master Bruce?" Bruce shook his head in response to Alfred's question.

Tim had started to work away on the doses but stopped when he was short of an ingredient, he kept working away while Nightwing had been sent to get the ingredient.

Time skip

It was morning and the children decided to wake up quite early. They had slipped off the bed and gone wandering around the manor. It wasn't even 7 in the morning and crying could be heard through the manor.

Bruce opened his door, with bags under his eyes he followed a baby Marinette crying in the middle of the hallway and he followed Damian's crying to find Alfred picking up a baby in the living room.

"Looks like the young masters are hungry, I shall take care of them you may return to bed master Bruce," he said while taking Marinette from Bruce.

The children stopped crying when Alfred started to rock the two gently he took them to the kitchen and sat them both on a high chair.

He placed a bowl of sliced bananas in front of them but the two ate a piece, Marinette kept eating but Damian took a piece and threw it at Marinette and it landed in her hair.

She started to cry and threw a piece of banana and hit him straight in the face. The two kept throwing at each other before they could continue Alfred took the plates from them and moved them away.

"Young masters, time for a bath," he said taking the children covered in fruit, while they had been eating or having a food fight he had been preparing a bath for them.

Bruce would always throw his food around when he was younger. He placed the two in a bath that was filled with warm water and lots of bubbles.

They splashed around and would spray water at each other by the time they had gotten out it was at least 9.

Everyone else was awake and eating breakfast, when Alfred came back the children were still arguing they would keep poking their tongues out at each other.

"These young masters don't seem to be very fond of each other," Alfred said, placing the two down.

"How so? Alfred '' Bruce asked the butler who just pointed down to the two who were arguing over a toy and trying to grab it from each other. "This and the bathroom was drenched in water once they were done with it, and the kitchen was covered in banana slices from their food fight" he explained and the others were laughing.

"So basically they went from lovers to war" Jason summed staring at the two kids who had forgotten about the toy were now staring at the tv where Tom and Jerry were playing.

Tim rushed into the room nearly tripping on the way and was carrying a huge coffee cup, "Tim have you slept at all?" Dick asked from his seat on the couch and he shook his head.

"Nope, but here have them eat this, I made it into jelly seeing as they will most likely not do anything that isn't soft," he said and handed them each a jar of jelly which the others took and gave to them.

Soon enough the two felt tired and were put to bed, when they woke up they were teenagers again and were being teased nonstop about how they were babies again and how they were so cute.

Damian even threatened to stab them with a sword till Marinette said to apologise.
