Random Cuddling (Imagine For Elizabeth)

"Pass the popcorn," Shawn demands.

"No, I'm not done with it."

"It's my house though. My popcorn. My couch." He rests his head on his elbow and drapes one arm over your stomach, keeping his eyes on you.

"But you invited me over! I'm your guest."

"Elizabeth if you don't give me the popcorn-"

"Okay," You say. "I will. But you have to tell me how much you love me first."

He giggles. "I love you to the moon and back, now will you please just let me -"

"Ah, um, the moon? You mean the body closest to the earth? C'mon, Shawn, go farther than that! Neptune, Pluto. . . "

"Pluto isn't even a planet."

"You wouldn't know, you're Canadian, and NASA is American. We pretty much own outer space."

"What does this have to do with popcorn though?" He asks, smiling at you. His face was really close now that you were facing him. There was a moment of silence where it seemed as if he was leaning in to kiss you, and your heart raced, but then he pokes you in the stomach and starts tickling your ribs.

"Stop! Stop!" You beg through fits of laughter, throwing popcorn at him. The little show-off kept catching them in his mouth, though, so you eventually decided to fight back. You grabbed his shoulders and pulled him down to you so he could no longer access your stomach, then you ran your long fingernails down the back of his neck and he flinches. "Liz," He says, his eyes closed as he laughs, "I love you to Neptune and back."

You stop tickling him on his neck and push him off of you, allowing your bodies to become tangled together as you nuzzle your head into his neck.

"I love you to Pluto and back," You respond, murmuring into his skin.

He pulls back the slightest bit and plants a kiss on your forehead, then darts for your lips. You kissed for a while until you leaned back on the couch and went back into his embrace.

There was silence for a while as you both just thought the same thing; Pluto is a dwarf planet.

"Liz," He whispers.

"Yes?"

"Forever, okay?"

You were taken back for a minute, but you caress his back as you slowly whisper back, "Forever and ever. To that stupid dwarf planet, okay?"

"Okay."
