You displayed very mixed emotions when you got home. One minute you were sobbing into your pillow, the next you were laughing as if you had just witnessed the funniest thing, then you just there, on your phone. You couldn't help but go back every few seconds to see if Karma had texted but of course, he didn't. Funny part was you didn't want to talk to him at all.

9:42pm

Rio

Hey, no hard feelings between us right?

Well it's pretty clear you and Karma aren't exactly on talking terms at the moment, I heard a bit of your argument after school. Just wanted to make sure we're good bc I was on his team and all

9:44pm

You

Yeah, we're good dw.

9:44pm

Rio

Thank God. I'll see you tmrw, gn !

9:45pm

You

Goodnight !!

You shut off your phone. You were already in your pyjamas and ready for bed. You knew there was no chance Karma was going to message you so you just went to sleep.

When you woke up, no messages, well from Karma at least. You sighed and got up, going through your morning as you usually would. Brushed your teeth, hair, put on your uniform and waited for Karma to knock on your door.

Stupid, he obviously isn't going to walk me to school. You thought to yourself before leaving.

At least you were done with the wallowing. You got to school a few minutes early, like the rest of E-Class did. Of course, a few faces weren't there yet, guys like Karma, Terasaka, Yoshida, etcetera.

Kurahashi ran to our desk as soon as you sat down.

"You guys aren't breaking up, right?! Right!?" She asked frantically.

  "Where'd you get that from.."

  "You guys are fighting, duh!"

"One little fight doesn't mean we're going to end things, Kurahashi, jeez," you laughed a bit but if you were being honest, you had the same concern as her. You knew you weren't breaking up with Karma but hell, you couldn't read his mind.

"Think he'll show up today?" Yada asked as she approached the two of you.

"Man, I don't know what'd be worse. Him being here and having to ignore him or him just going M.I.A.," you sighed.

"Yeah, I totally get that. But, I'm sure you'll get over it soon, you guys always forgive each other, you're Karma and (Y/N)!" She smiled.

"Let's hope it'll all be over soon."

Karma did end up showing up, half way through the day. He sat down without saying a word to you.

"Okay we have a plan," Isogai announced to the class. "Time to put that plan into action. First off, the rocket only holds two people, who's going?" Almost every guy in class shot their hand up.

"Boys will be boys," Nakamura rolled her eyes.

"This is an experientmenal vessel with as yet no successful flights, who's going now?!" Koro- Sensei asked.

Everyone's hand went down even faster than they went up.

You didn't start listening until you heard Karma's name.

No way he's going on that death machine. Your head shot up.

"What? Look, I'm not that fond of taking big risks, especially with my life on the line. Why don't you send Terasaka and a dummy instead? They're both expendable," Karma rested his arms behind his head.

  "Asshole!"

"Karma the fighter in case there's a scuffle and Nagisa the assassin just to be safe. That seems like ideal hijacking to me," Kataoka added.

"Great, everyone save up some money so we can cover the costs," Isogai smiled.

"You're not seriously going to do this, right? Say something quickly," you whispered to Karma, he shrugged you off.

That hurt, bad. Most of the time when the two of you got into fights, he'd be begging for your forgiveness by now, he never gave you the cold shoulder.

"Karma? I say we give it a shot. What's better than a trip to outer space with your best friend? Eh? Come on!" Nagisa smiled.

"Sure, fine. I did promise to hear you out, didn't I?"

Fuck.

  "Excellent! Then it's settled."

The day arrived, you faked being sick, you wanted to be there of course but with the fact you and Karma hadn't talked for a few days and him literally leaving the planet, you couldn't handle it.

Thankfully, it all went well. Karma couldn't help but look for you in the crowd. While he was doing so, he felt a gentle tap on his shoulder.

"Christ, Okuda. Scared me," he sighed.

"Oh, I'm sorry! I just um, wanted to talk to you, in private."

"Could it wait till tomorrow or something? I'm tired and I gotta talk to (Y/N) so-"

  "It's about (Y/N)! I swear it'll only take a minute."

"Alright.. Fine, just make it quick," he followed Okuda to a spot in the forest where no one was around.

"So I understand you and (Y/N) haven't been talking?" She asked.

"Yeah, it's been a few days I guess, but I'm over it. We're gonna talk about it today."

"Well.. If you're talking about it today, you may wanna ask her about Asano."

  "What?" Karma was utterly confused.

"I've seen the two of them together, alone. And they looked awfully close."

"Are you sure it was (Y/N)?"

"Yeah, positive. They were walking home together I believe."

"Huh.. She didn't tell me about that... Um, thanks, Okuda. I'm gonna get going now."

"Yeah, of course. Good luck!" She smiled sweetly as he walked away.
