Ariana & Alora house

"You want a middle or side part." Alora asked Ariana as ran her fingers through the frontal install she just installed.

Ariana looked at her reflection in the mirror trying to decide what look she was going for. "Mhm side with beach curls." Alora nodded in response. "Soo Brit appointment has been moved up to Monday. You coming?" Ariana asked, watching for her reaction in the mirror.

Alora shrugged, curling a piece of hair. "I don't know."

"Now Alora." Ariana tilted her head to the side, still staring at her through the mirror. "Uh huh, don't do that. I don't know if I want to go. Shit is super weird now... I don't trust Brittany..I don't even care to know who the daddy really is either. Why would she even want me there knowing I feel some type of way against her?" Alora rambled on.

"Mhm maybe because your are bestfriends who sometimes don't see eye to eye but love each other regardless. But  think they took the DNA on Monday. Mama K was talking bout something regarding it with ya Aunt.

"I wouldn't know. I don't talk to either but I love her from a distance."

Ariana rolled her eyes, Alora had a comeback for everything. "I feel like it's to much shit going on for you to be holding grudges. The family literally has a target on its back, shit you have a target on ya back. Amir can be here today and gone tomorrow. You and I both know you'd be broken without him."

Alora sucked her teeth, scrunching her face up as she looked down at Ariana. "Why you always gotta get extreme."

"Bitch because life is extreme. Yes, he should've told you and yes Brittany shouldn't have lied but there's more pressing issues going on. This shit is so petty if you ask me."

"I really don't remember asking you though." Alora retorted.

"Alora, I don't give a fuck. You heard what I said."

One thing about their relationship Ariana never held back. If no one else was going to call Alora out on her shit, Ariana was. Alora did have a reason to mad but to much was going on to soak in something so petty. The Family was literally preparing for a potential war and in wars there are always unknown casualties. Ariana wanted Alora talk to at least talk to Bittany and Amir but she refused.

"Ariana change the subject before I burn ya ass by accident on purpose with this curling iron for pissing me off."  she said pointing the curling iron at Ariana.

"If I didn't need to look good for my man tonight I'd keep it going but Ima keep it cute.. for now." she warned. Alora rolled her eyes. "Anyways what you doing tonight?"

Ariana rolled her eyes back. "Mhm going to Saf house since you leaving me. Where you and Mecca going ?"

"Top Golf."

"Now why you got his hood ass about to play some damn golf ." she laughed.

"He picked it not me," Alora shrugged. "It is something different from our normal dates but I'm here for it."

"Okay but you and Rome ? Don't think cause I ain't say nothing I ain't peep he stayed in ya room when we stayed at the Estate."

"We really just talked like all night. It was refreshing. Normally when I say something he'd hit me with the "I got you."," she mimicked his voice. "But like I think we may have gotten to the root of our issues. There was a break through on both ends."

"Both ends?" Ariana questioned.

"I may or may not have actually forgiven him. Like I said I did...All those years ago I thought I did but whenever I try to think forward with us that situation comes up and i shut down on him."
