Upper se mere khadoos boss ne call kar kar ke pareshan kar rakha hai" I huffed while remembering the lecture Abhimanyu had given me last night because I was shy and was hesitating to come to office after our engagement

And pick up my 5th kachori

I gulped it in one go while my stomach knotting in tension about thinking the reaction of my colleagues

I take small baby steps toward the entrance of my office

Are they going to treat me differently after knowing Iam their boss's fiancee
All those thoughts started running in my mind
I look towards the reception where our receptionist Nitya was standing talking to some people
I tiptoed towards the lift
" Akshara" I stilled

itne dino mai toh kabhi nhi bulaya aaj kaise bula liya isne

She is saying hello to me , is it true or Iam dreaming
I mean
since I started doing my job she never bother to reply back wherever I said hello to her
" thank you" I said awkwardly
And then the people on the reception also took notice of me and started congratulating me and started praising me
The people whom I really don't have any idea they even exist till now,
are talking like they know me since from my past life
I managed in getting away from them and took a lift like always
which was empty much to my relief
Lift opened and I reached at my floor
And then booom.........
Rose petals shower on me
" congratulations, Akshara" everyone ( mostly people) shouted
