I am embers and ashes,
the last dying gasp
of a smothered fire,
and I can barely
breathe anymore
as I slowly
and deliberately expire,
and you won't find me
when I'm dust
scattered on the breeze,
and our memories
of wolves and sun
will inexorably cease.

⤞embers and ashes
I am embers and ashes,
the last dying gasp
of a smothered fire,
and I can barely
breathe anymore
as I slowly
and deliberately expire,
and you won't find me
when I'm dust
scattered on the breeze,
and our memories
of wolves and sun
will inexorably cease.
