Chapter 25

I was mad at my sister when I discovered that she manipulated us and dragged us into the Gate's house! I mean, it was a fantastic idea, and the faces that Tyler and Enid made when they found out what my sister had planned for tonight were iconic! But I was mad because she didn't include me in it! I was walking with a torch in my hands, exiting an office in the Garret's mansion

Wednesday: Don't act like a five-year-old kid, whose ice cream has fallen on the ground! I usually enjoy their screams and cries, but you are just mad 

She said and I turned to her 

Wednesday: I thought you will love the surprise 

Y/n: It was indeed a cool and spooky surprise, but you didn't include me in your evil plans! That's what hurt when I thought we were a team 

Wednesday: Because we are a team, doesn't mean that I can't be my own individual person, making my own decisions! The world doesn't revolve around you Y/n, you can't be included in everything 

She said, and I rolled my eyes before continuing to walk. I stayed downstairs with Tyler and started looking around the kitchen and I found a family album inside one of the cupboards! I looked through the pages where I found pictures of the family and at the end of the album were tons of old letters! I put them on the table and when I opened one, I realized it was a letter between the father and the mayor, and he was saying to the mayor that he would pay a huge amount of money in return he would press charges against Nevermore! He said that he wanted to lie about that the land that the school was built on, belonged to him, so the school would get shut down! I was trying to analyse it when I heard screams from the living room 

Tyler: It's here, hide

He screamed, and I took the album with the letters in my bag before going to hide under a table! Then I heard the door of the room smash open and the table that was protecting me flew to the wall and broke after the monster hit it! I looked up and saw it staring down at me

Y/n: You know, that's a really cool way to die, but I think I will pass

I said and hit it with the chair that I found next to me before starting to run upstairs but in the middle of the stairs it grabbed my leg and I heard Enid scream 

Enid: Y/n

She said that thing scratched my hand with his vast dirty nails before running to get my sister and Enid! I stood up while running outside and hid behind the house while holding my hand! After a few minutes, Tyler showed up and lay opposite me with a huge scratch on his chest 

Y/n: Dude, are you okay?

I asked, and he nodded while breathing heavily, and then I noticed from afar my sister running with Enid toward us 

Enid: Y/n! Oh my goodness your hand 

She said looking at it in shock 

Y/n: It's just a little scratch 

Enid: A little scratch? You are lucky it didn't come off 

She said looking at it in horror and then next to them Xavier appeared out of nowhere!

Y/n: What the hell are you doing here?

I said while looking at him in confusion and surprise at the same time, and he looked at me with eyes full of worry 

Xavier: I was looking everywhere for you! Y/n what happened?

He said, sitting next to me and removing his scarf, and covering my arm to stop the bleeding 

Y/n:Ouch 

I whispered 

Xavier: Sorry and never leave me like that again, it drives me crazy the thought that you may be in danger and I may be not around 

He said kissing my forehead and I smiled

Enid: You guys are literally made from a book 

Hello everyone,

Sorry for not uploading these past few days, but the current events made me really busy! I have to say that my grades like every other year were EXCELLENT, and I was just stupid for worrying about it so much, but it's me that we are talking about! Anyway, I will try and be more active these days and upload more and more parts! I hope you all have an amazing day
