Still have I come to you with hope
like the always falling rain.
I painted colors on the sky,
but you only bought the art
and left the unnamed artist
hoping he'd cross your mind.
Heaven brought me closer to you--
and only if you know my presence
on your window sill each morning,
only if you know the gentle touch
that made your roses bloom,
will you read the silence of my heart.
I guess I should have loved the sun,
for my silence remains unspoken.
