Kelly closed my locker then leaned on hers. "School feels so boring without Theo and Corey." She sighed and i nod. "Atleast we graduate in a month and we can finally get to stop seeing miss Roosevelt everyday and hearing her scream at someone."She said and I nod.

" About graduation what do you plan on doing after high school? "I asked her." I don't know I guess maybe move away from Riverstone and move to the city and finally leave Riverstone. "She answered.

" And you? "She asked me and I looked out at the distance." I'm not quite sure maybe go to culinary school. "I answered." We should probably get to class. What class do you have first?"She asked me as we began walking towards our classes." English. "I answered.

We separated as I reached English class. I walked in and not supprising I was late." You know what, Miss Rose just take your seat. At this point it's becoming a habit and so is sending you to detention every afternoon. "Miss Jereld did not even look at me as she continued teaching."

I walked up to my seat and took a seat. I looked at the seat Theo used to sit at and then looked out the window.  Miss Jereld was teaching but her voice was inaudible as i was not focusing. "Miss Rose I would really appreciate if you were to be part of this lesson for what I am teaching you, will be on your final exam and will count for half of your final mark." Miss Jereld scolded me and i looked at her.

I began paying attention as she continued to teach. The lesson felt like it had been going on forever when the  period finally ended everyone walked out of the class. The hallways were full of people trying to get to their next lessons.

My next lesson was art class one of my favorite classes of the day and the only class Kelly and I had together.

When the last bell of the day rang no one wasted any time in walking out of class because it was Friday and the weekend had come.

I got up from my seat and walked out of the class. I found Kelly waiting for me by our lockers so we can walk home together.

We talked the whole way home and Kelly could not stop telling me about how Corey and her long distance was going.

We separated once we reached Kelly 's house we hugged each other goodbye before she walked into her house and i made my way home.

The door was locked which meant my mother was not home. I took out the house keys from my bag and unlocked the door before walking in and closing the door behind me.

I strolled upstairs to my room and when i entered i dropped my bag on the floor near my desk then layed on my bed and let out a sigh.

Then i remembered the english essay i had to write which was going to count for half my final mark and it was due on Monday.

I got up from my bed and walked up to my desk and sat down, then took out my notebook. I wanted to get over and done with the essay because i knew i would not get back to it during the weekend.

I took out my pen and began writing. Then I received a text. I picked up my phone to see who it was from and it was from Theo.

Theo : hi (with a smiley face). How are you doing I mean having to look forward to graduating.

I smiled at receiving a message from him. And he used my smiley face thing.

Adalyn :Hi(with a smiley face). Stressful Miss Jereld gave us an essay on how high school has been for us and she wants us to read our essays on graduation day next month. I was about to begin with mine before you texted. Anyways how are you doing.

Theo: I definitely don't miss Miss Jereld's English class. I've been better I mean I will be starting college in a month and right now I have been busy with music. Good luck on the essay I will text you tomorrow same time.

Adalyn : I miss you so much. I never sent the text instead i turned of my phone and picked up my pen to begin writing but everytime i tried writing something nothing came in mind and i ended up with a bunch of ripped papers.

I got up from my seat and walked out of my room. I ran down the stairs then out the house locking the door behind me. I needed to take a walk to clear my mind so i can be able to write my essay.

The afternoon was peaceful like any other in Riverstone. Then i remembered the walks Corey, Kelly, Theo and I would take mostly because i forced them but i missed them so much.
