Noah:
I laughed hysterically as Lily thrashed in my arms. In fact, I was laughing so much that I was having trouble keeping a hold of her. "Noah!" She screamed, "If you even -"
"Bombs away!" I yelled, thrusting my arms forward and releasing my hold on her.
She hit the water with a splash, sending water right in to my face. But I didn't care. I just laughed as I watched her surface, gasping for air. Her blonde hair was plastered down her shoulders, and she had a very annoyed look on her face.
"You really are an ass!" She frowned, rubbing her eyes.
"Now you know you don't mean that," I teased, wading forward so I was within touching distance.
"Oh, you wanna bet?!" She laughed, starting to back away from me.
"Uh-uh," I smiled, shaking my head. "Where do you think you're going honey?"
I lunged towards her, grabbing hold of her hand. She didn't even have time to register what was happening before I pulled her towards me, wrapping both of my arms around her waist, trapping her against me. Although I was surprised to see that this time, she didn't squirm or try to get away. Grinning down at her, I stared straight in to her gorgeous grey eyes. They took my breath away every time I looked at them. Her lips were parted slightly, and she was breathing heavily, like she was out of breath. Looking at the corner of her eye, I saw a drop of water gliding down.
"Hold still," I whispered, dipping my head forward.
"What are you doing?" She whispered back, sounding very unsure.
Without answering her, I placed my lips at the corner of her eye, kissing away the drop of water that was beginning to slide down. It tasted salty against my lips, but I didn't even think about that. The only thing I could think about was Lily and the way her skin tasted, sun kissed. I smiled against her cheek, as I felt her relax in to me, rubbing her hand up and down my back.
"That's not fair," I heard her moan. "You always think a kiss will make everything better."
I laughed and pulled away from her, although I kept my arms around her waist. "So, are you saying I should just stop kissing you?" I joked, raising an eyebrow at her. "Because I'm afraid I just can't do that."
Lily just smiled at me and leant forward slightly. I frowned a little when I no longer felt her stroking my back. But that frown disappeared as I watched Lily place her hands on my stomach, stroking my chest softly with the tip of her finger. My breath caught in my throat as I lifted my eyes to her face. I was just about to reach out to her and kiss her the way I was longing to, when she winked at me.
"What - "
"Payback's a bitch!" She laughed, before springing forward and pushing me under the water.
I closed my eyes as I went under, and I felt the water crash over my head as she pushed me down. The faint echo of her laughter was audible from above, and I couldn't help but smile a little as I kicked off from the bottom. The water glided over me before I hit the surface and the warmth of the sun hit my shoulders. I opened my eyes, glancing around for Lily. Laughing, I spotted her about forty feet away, waving her arms at me.
"I win!" She yelled, her laughter echoing in my direction.
Shaking my head, I couldn't help but smile as I threw myself forward and began swimming towards her. It took me barely a couple of seconds, seeing as I was a good swimmer. When I looked up, I was surprised to see that she hadn't moved from her spot. She was just sitting on the sand, as the water lapped around her. Walking out of the ocean, I jogged towards her and sat down, my shoulder touching hers.
