I was on my way to Calvin's house because I needed to talk to Ma about this new information her pops gave to me.
We kinda can't do the operation without her considering she basically top off the class in the line of work, but really as long as that nigga in the equation I don't think she gonna go for it.
As I pulled up in their driveway I noticed that the car was gone so I called up Calvin but he didn't answer neither did Ma so I called Layla
"Yo sis" I said
"Wassup bro everything good" she said
"Yea I'm straight but I'm in front of y'all house y'all not home" I asked
"Naw me and Calvin had shi to do but Ma home" she said
"She didn't answer the phone when I called" I said
"Now you know that girl live on do not disturb just go ahead and ring that door bell" she said
"Can't stand her ass but ight sis" I said
"Alright" she said and then the phone call ended
I turned my car off getting out and walked up to the door I rung that doorbell like hundred times
"Boy why you ringing the door bell like you crazy" Ma said opening the door in a towel
"Cause your funky ass act like you can't hear shi" I said walking through the door
"Funky?? Baby anit shi funky about me I was in the shower" she said
"When you started taking showers" I said

"Ight im done" I said following her to her room
She went inside her closet closing the door to get dress so I walked around her room waiting on her to me finish
"Why you always looking in my shi" she said coming out the closet
"Girl shut up, sit down I gotta talk to you" I said sitting on her bed and she sat in her desk chair across from me
"Wassup who stressing you out I know it's not little miss can't cook" she said chuckling
"Naw we anit fucking with each other no more" I said
"Whattt trouble in paradise" she said drying with laughter
"Ight quit with all that I came over here because we have business to discuss not so we can talk about my love life" I said
"Alright what's the business" she said
"Well first how are you doing like mentally" I said
"I'm good Justin" she said
"See you said that shi the first time and I found out you was an alcoholic so be for real with me for once" I said pulling her chair close to me were we are making eye contact
"I'm managing ok I haven't been drinking and I had a talk with Layla the other day" she said
"That's good but what about all the noise that's up in here" I said pointing to her head
"Man they don't know how to shut the fuck up but I'm working on it" she said chuckling
"How" I asked
"I stared to write my shi down, how I'm feeling stuff like that" she said
"That's good, you ever right about me in there" I said side eyeing her

"Ight but don't do to much" i said
" that means it's gonna piss me off" she said
" Ma we really need you for this operation with your pops" I said
"Justin go on with that bullshi" she said
"Ma'Kayla I'm serious" I said
"Me to I don't want nothing to do with that nigga and I'm tired of you bringing that bitch ass nigga up" she said
" but listen if it really wasn't important I wouldn't even keep asking about it Ma'kayla but this is a real game changer" I said
"Why you can't tell me why tho" she said
"Because I'm tryna protect you" I said
"I kill people for a living I don't need protection" she said
"Not physically Ma'kayla mentally" I said
"Justin I do not trust that nigga" she said
"Then don't I don't really trust that nigga either" I said
"Exactly so what the fuck we having this conversation for" she said
"I don't need you to trust him I just need you to trust me alright" I said
