Riley's POV

"This place is packed!" Michelle giggled after we finally made it to the courtyard of the College next door, it was an our door setting but yet Michelle was accurate
There were so many bodies here that it was hard to make our way anywhere
"let's get a drink? But pace yourself please" I said pointing at her making her roll her eyes before taking a hold of my hand guiding us towards the crowd towards the drinks table 

When we got there, it didn't take long for us to get to the front of the queue, it was around the same time that four guys also joined our side 
"Cute" Michelle whispered nudging me while I chuckled
Trust her to dive head first into the first guy that looks her way
True Michelle fashion

"Well you definetly aren't in our college" One of the boys said smirking at Michelle who bit her lip taking a sip of my drink before I had the chance to claim it
"you aren't-" I started before she spat it out all over the guy who had just spoken to her
"going to like that" I finally finished picking up some napkins handing them to the guy while Michelle looked like she was ready for the world to swallow her whole 
"I am so so sorry" She said frantically rubbing at his shirt to get the stain out

"Michelle, I think you should stop rubbing him" I laughed too myself while she glared at me making my instantly bit back a laugh
"Michelle right?" The guy said grabbing her wrist gently to stop her rubbing

"So we have one name, what's yours?" A tall brunette said as he stood next to me
"I mean you have one and we none so far so fair is fair" I replied making him chuckle
"James" He answered with a nod
"Nice to meet you James, I'm Riley" I smiled 
"These idiots are West and Eldon. The wet one is Hunter" He chuckled while all three boys glared at him 

"That was so your fault" Michelle groaned after Hunter had disappeared with West leaving Eldon and James with us
"How was I supposed to know you wanted me to make your drink?" I asked with a shrug while Eldon chuckled to himself
"What are you drinking Michelle?" he asked allowing the pair of them to fizzle into their own conversation 
My attention turned back to James who was leaning against one of the trees nearby us 
"Wanna dance?" He asked making me look at him with a raised brow
"Do I want to get knocked by a bunch of drunk sweaty bodies?" I rebutted 
"Sure" I shrugged finishing my drink taking a hold of James' hand that was held out leading us over to the main area of the party

The moment we found ourselves a spot, the upbeat music we had originally walked out onto had come to an end and in it's place was a slower song making James smirk as he placed both his hands on my waist while mine went to his neck with a small shake to my head
"I would say you planned this but something tells me if you don't have that much rizz" I said earning a dark laugh
"Bold of you to assume I have any rizz Riley" he said
"you got me to dance didn't you? I don't even usually do that at these sort of things" I replied earning a confident smirk 

"I wonder what else I can get you to do then" he offered with a raise of the brow 
Something tells me this is going to be an interesting night

James' POV

"So I have good and bad news" I said coming back over to a quiet bench we had found hours later with new drinks
"Oh god, what did she do?" Riley asked earning another laugh
"Michelle has gone back to my dorm with Eldon" I chuckled
"What's the bad news?" She mused making my face soon shift to confused
"That was the bad new Riley" I laughed
"That sounds like bliss to me, Eldon is now responsible for her drunken 3am vomit session" she said taking a sip of my drink

"Oh fuck, really? I share a room with him, I don't want part in that" I groaned making her giggle
"Do you not have a sofa?" Riley suggest earning a shrug

"How about we get you back? Then I'll figure out my sleeping arrangements in the dorm" I suggested
"Wanting to end the night so soon?" Riley asked biting her lip

"Not exactly" I rebutted taking a hold of her hand guiding her through the every growing crowd, it was 3am I really do not understand how there are still so many people around right now 

It didn't take Riley and I long to get back to her dorm room, I won't lie it was a lot nicer then our dorm which says a lot
It's clear that we are in the budget college to say the very least
"Home safe and sound" I smiled leaning against her door frame as she unlocked the door taking a step inside 

She was certainly not the usual girl that people peg me to go after but there was something about her that was intoxicating, something that was pulling me in from the very first interaction

"Well thank you, you're clearly my knight in shining armour" She giggled, the alcohol clearly having some part in that level of confidence
"Any time" I winked

Before either of us had the chance to say anything else, Riley took a step back towards me leaning up onto the tips of her toes pressing her lips against mine in a soft kiss knocking the surprise out of me
She tried to pull away a moment later but I pulled her straight back in cupping her jaw while my other hand found her waist 

"I think I can solve your dorm arrangement" Riley giggled again stepping down from her tiptoes
"I think you can to" I smirked picking her up by the waist, her legs wrapping around my instantly as I kicked the door shut making our way deeper into her dorm room
