You were running as fast as you could but then someone's hands picked you up

You started to laugh 

" you got me again " 

You said holding your big sister cheeks who is now 13 while you were only 9 you then gave her a big hug while she sets you down 

" y/n i have to go now dad is calling for me " 

You frowned 

" will dad force you to use magic again " 

Your sister gave you a assuring smile and patted your head 

" don't worry big sister is strong nothing will happen" 

You believe her but if only you knew it would be last time you would see her you wouldn't have let her go 

Next day 

" mom where's Sophia " 

( Sophia is your sisters name ) 

You asked but your mom ignored you you then went to go ask your dad but he ignored you too so then you went to your grandma 

" oh your dad didn't tell you he got rid of that useless girl " 

Your face was completely dark and you were shaking a little 

" by get rid what do you mean " 

Your grandma thought for a second before answering you 

" she's dead y/n that's all I can tell you " 

This news hit you like a bullet  or someone stabbing you again and again 

" WHY WHAT DID SHE DO " 

You yelled but your grandma grabbed her wand and shut your mouth up 

" shut your mouth you little brat don't talk to your grandma like that your lucky I told you about her I would've let you live a life without knowing your sisters dead now run along you have a future ahead of you " 

You were so mad but there is nothing you can do it's just you if only you could use magic you would've saved your sister but no you were a late bloomer who had not yet had there magic developed 

Most kids would get there magic developed by 5 or 6 but you were a late bloomer and your parents don't really care for you because of that 

On your 11 birthday you finally developed your magic you kept it a secret from your parents so they don't use you like they did to Sophia you would practice your powers inside your room mostly your technicises but later on you learned how to fight from your mom since she was worried about your safety of not having magic yet

But you couldn't hide it forever one day at normie school some of your friends were going to the pool practice so you decided to watch but when you got there no one was there you thought you were early but as you were walking around someone pushed you in 

Good thing you knew how to swim but someone was under the water and tied a rope to your leg and tied the other side of the rope somewhere under the water

You grabbed you wand and cased magic to help you breath 

" this is actually not that bad I can stay here for a while before going out " 

It's been an hour and you got bored so you untied yourself and got out of the water but then you regretted it your parents where right in front of you with the principal and your fake friends 

" how come you didn't tell me you could use magic and use it to breath under water that's amazing your more powerful then your sister your not as useless as I thought " 

You dad said when you got home 

" I'm not going to be used like you used my sister I'm not your toy to play with " 

You said but then you felts your cheeks go red your dad had just slapped you 

" you listen here you little shit you do as I say if it wasn't for me you would be on the streets begging for food you should be thankful i had patients in you now your going to be helping your dad with a lot of stuff " 

After that day your dad would run experiments on you taking your blood samples day by day while your mom would teach you how to control your magic when you turned 17 your mom wanted to talk to you alone 

"Yes mother what is it you wanted to talk about " 

She then gave you a broom that had been wrapped up nicely in clear wrapping paper and a card taped on it your mom then wrote something on a paper 

This is from your sister she wanted to give it to you when you turned 17 she knew you would be more powerful then she would ever be and this is a gift from her 

Tears started to slowly fall down your cheeks
