In the depths of green, cunning, and ambition thrive,
Slytherin's common room, where serpents come alive.

After the incident, both yn and Mattheo Riddle ignored each other's presence.

It was late at night, around 2:00 a.m., and Yn got up for some midnight snacks.

Yn's Pov:-
I couldn't sleep, so I decided to go to our common room as there were a lot of snacks in the cabinets. As I  flicked on the lights, my eyes widened in surprise when I  saw the Mattheo already there, smoking . For a brief moment, my heart skipped a beat, caught off guard by his unexpected presence . As I took a closer look, I  couldn't help but be captivated by his appearance. The way the soft glow of the light highlighted his features, the way his eyes sparkled with a hint of mischief. The shirt that perfectly defined his muscles.I was so captivated that I accidently knocked over a flower pot near me, and it broke. Mattheo looked at me and raised an eyebrow. God, he looked hot.

Mattheo Riddle's Pov :-
I saw Yn standing there awkwardly. She was in her pj's, her hair open, that fell down perfectly on her shoulders. I was rather charmed for quite a few seconds because of her magnetic presence.

"What are you doing here?"

"I could ask you the same
question"

Awkward silence filled the room ones again. Yn started to pick up the pieces of the pot that she had broken. After doing that, she made her way behind cabinets for snacks. I made my way to her. She didn't see me as she was picking snacks from the cabinet. As I quietly snuck up behind her, a mischievous grin spread across my face. When she turned around, her startled expression was just what I was hoping for. A mix of surprise and annoyance flashed in her eyes, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She took a step back and her cheeks flushed with frustration.
"wtf" she said under her breath loud enough for me to hear it. Before she could say anything else, I looked at her straight in the eye and said

" A mind reader....huh ? "
She didn't say anything but looked at me with fierce eyes.
I took a step closer to her, but she stood her ground. I hate to admit it, but I liked how fierce she was.

Yn's Pov:-
He took another step forward, and I could hear his breath, and his deep voice was vibrating in my chest.

"Never wondered how you couldn't read my mind?"

I was dumbstruck, and I didn't understand how he knew about it when I didn't tell it to anyone.

"Shocked .... ?"

I tried not to break eye contact despite how shocked I was.
Then it all hit me, and I uttered

"You are also a mind reader, aren't you..?"

He smirked.

"Guess you aren't the only one, Yn Potter,"

It all made sense, but I didn't want to believe it. It all seemed unreal as I thought that there were no mind readers left except me.

I looked at him and, without wasting a single second, pushed him away.
My brain flooded with thoughts, and I was really grateful that he wasn't able to read my mind. I quickly picked up the snacks and made my way to my dorm.

Mattheo Riddle's Pov:-
She looked like she'd seen a ghost. She rolled her eyes at me and quickly made her way to her dorm.
I didn't know much about hogwarts yet but one thing was sure: she'll be the death of me as long as I am here.
