He says I'm unique
And I can't hardly believe it.
He asks about my day at night,
And it feel so strange.
His words makes me feel safe,
This is new to my ears.

Fictions in my head,
Plots are now gradually fed.
The other day your just a hope,
Now a poem that's too beautiful to cope.

Out of my reach,
Now I can hold you near.
Hug me until I smell like you,
I think I fit in your arms
As if I was made to be there.

Out of my league,
Now he kissed my lips.
Isn't it too good to be true?
We held each others hands
As if we're destined to be here.

If this is just an illusion,
Or just another delusion.
Don't help me,
Don't save me,
Don't wake me up.
I love fantasies,
But no more fiction.

I went from pretending to call you mine
To I'm not ready to call you mine.
