NAILEA LAY ASLEEP on her bed, it was the day after her birthday and she wanted nothing more but to sleep.
The girls had thrown a party for her and then they went to a dinner after. By the time they got back home they were all tired so the group went up to Nika and Nailea's room and had one big sleepover
The day was perfect in Nailea's eyes and she wouldn't change it for the world. She did wish she could see everyone in Iowa but she also would never want to leave the team, they were her family
Around 11 am everybody had woken up and they all began to talk with each other. The TV playing in the background.
Paige was on her phone texting someone with a bright smile on her face. This didn't go unnoticed by Nai but she spoke nothing of it averting her attention to the rest of the girls
"Thank you guys this was more than I could ever ask for" Nailea say thanking them again she couldn't have been more grateful
Everyone smiled telling her it was no problem. Slowly but surely the team had left the room to their own only KK, Azzi and Paige stayed
Azzi jumped into Nailea's bed to which the girl chuckled as she laid her head on the the curly haired girl. She cringed a little as she felt a pain coming from her arm, the rash was still there
"We've got one more surprise" Azzi said looking down at the girl
"What do you mean?"
"Oh you thought we were done?" KK asked cheekily
Nailea turns to face the girl confusion written all over her face
"Ok Paige pulled the strings on this one but I'm gonna say it cause, yeah. So basically we all know that you didn't get to see your family because they're all in Iowa and we know you wouldn't be able to travel there sooo we kinda did this thing-"
The door burst open to see Kate, Jayda, Gabby and Hannah then Caitlin
"You did not-" Nai shrieked tears pouring down her face
"Oh they did" Hannah said laughing
Nailea jumped into the girls arms wrapping her legs around them all
They hugged her back just as tight having not seen the girl for four months
Eventually They let go introducing themselves to Nai's new teammates and Nai heard a little voice come from behind Caitlin
"DeDe!" Nailea looked at Caitlin who simply just laughed. From behind the girl came Maddys little sister who immediately ran up to her.
Nai picked her up hugging her as if she would disappear if she let go
"Hey baby" she whispered as Maddy giggled
"I missed you sooo much and your 20 now" Maddy said showing up a two and a zero with her hands
"Caitlin taught me that" She whispered in the older girls ear
"Of course she did" Nailea said laughing.
Paige watched the girl interact with her old teammate and her sister a proud smile not leaving her face once
Nailea liked to put up a tough front but it was clear she missed them as much as she loved her new team and friends Paige knew nothing could replace the ones she started with
