I added few sentences in hindi because english was not justifying those emotions that I tried to show. I added english translation with all the hindi sentences. I hope that helps.

Dharini's POV

When I went downstairs, my eyes widened in shock. I was expecting Mishra sir here but he is nowhere in sight. Instead, I was welcomed by someone else.

Mishra Sir's Parents

I stood there frozen until I heard mumma's voice

"Please have a seat"

"Rini" Mumma called. When I looked at her, she gestured me through her eyes to touch their feet.

I quickly went forward to touch their feet.

"Khush raho beta" (stay happy dear) said uncle. Then I bent to touch aunty's feet but she stopped me mid way, instead hugged me and said "Pair mat chuo, gale lage lago mere" (don't touch my feet, instead hug me)

"Sit here" she gestured me to sit beside her and I did the same.

"How are you dear?"

"I'm good aunty"

"Tsk" she glared at me

"I'm good Ma" I said it again and she smiled.

"How did your exams go dear?" baba asked me

"They went well, baba" I replied shyly.

"Why not? Anav ji taught her after all" said papa.

"Anav ji se yaad aaya, wo nahi aaye?" (From Anav ji mention, I remember, he didn't came?) This time mumma asked

"Bike bohot pyari hai use uski, servicing karwane gaya hai" ( he love his bike a lot, he took it for servicing)

Drishu brought two glasses of water they warmly smiled at her and took the glasses, not before saying thank you.

"So we came here because of Anav's grandmother's wish. She wants the marriage to take place at the temple made by our ancestors" Baba said

"She said, every child of our family got married there, so Anav's marriage should also take place there" ma said

Mumma papa looked at each other. I guess they don't know what to say.

"We respect her wish, but how we will be able to manage everything? We never went there before." Papa said with tension.

"Hum hai na Sharma ji, aur ye bas aapki ki shadi thodi hai, hamare bete ki bhi hai to zimmedari to humari bhi hai"
(We are here Sharma ji, and this is not just your daughter's marriage, our son is also involved, so we are responsible equally)

Then we heard sound of bike.

He came

After a minute he entered. His eyes met mine and I don't know why my hearbeats quickened. I suddenly became conscious of my appearance. He touched me parents' feet and sat just opposite of me.

Everyone is silent and watching us. God this is so awkward. I guess sir also felt it, so he suddenly asked..

"How was your exam Dharini?"

"G..good"

"You did all the questions?"

"Yes"

"Very good"

Silence

Silence

Silence

Oh God again...
