Everybody was dressed in yellow and white since it was haldi, the garden being adored by yellow flowers and the couple was seated. Everybody took their turn and applied haldi.
Mishka stood in front of them and said " Let's not make it boring, so " she smirked
" No way! " Hayat warned but that was in vain
Mishka covered her face with haldi and Hayat wanted to do the same but mishka was running around and soon the haldi function turned into a holi fight
Hayat's Pov
Haldi function got over and the mess we had created in the garden is the reason why Nanny is in her angry mood. After few hours, i will become Agam's wife, OMG. Still can't believe, it's a wierd feeling.
I came to my room after hearing a good lecture from Nanny about being responsible! I was tired and was about to go bed when i realised that I'm looking like a jaundice patient.
I heard a knock on the door and opened it to find nanny. I have to talk to her but from yesterday, she was busy.
" Hayat, go take a bath. You have to get ready for your wedding " she said
" Nanny i want to talk to you " i said to which she replied
" Sure but first go have a bath, you look like a yellow lady " she said while giggling and i nodded
I came out of the bathroom to find her sitting on my bed looking into an album
" You know hayat, since your childhood, you've always been a responsible yet the most mischievous girl " She said while smiling at our picture together
" I couldn't have been this Nanny if I hadn't seen you being strong " i said and sat beside her
She turned towards me and put her palm on my face " What is it that you wanted to tell me?" She
asked
" Nanny, i don't know what's happening, I'm really confused " i said
" Confusion ki lady, tell me what is it?" She asked
I held her hands in mine and said
" Did you ever feel like you have those abilities you never wanted? I have visions, i see some ladies, a child and some dark places where someone is stuck and they are constantly screaming for help " i said in one go
" Do you remember that you had these nightmares since childhood?" She asked
" I remember, that's why I'm asking you, what should I do about this? It's not allowing me to sleep these days. I feel like i have no energy in me and that mishka's doings, are they all connected?" I asked and horror in my voice was evident
" Relax Hayat. You need some rest in life, i told you, it's stress. " she said without making an eye contact and i know she's hiding something but i didn't ask further because I know she will reveal it when it's the right time
" Now get ready " she said and went out
