Mia's POV

"Mia!!!!!" shouted my mother. "Yes, mother?" I asked. She slapped me hard. "Clean up the room, you ladylike," ordered my step. I obeyed her and scrub the floor.

Its so dirty and disgusting. And not to mention it requires tons of energy.

I took my handkerchief from my pocket and wiped the sweat from my freckled face. My mother stepped in the room.

She stared at me. Did I do something wrong. She took a stick, as big as a metal pole and hit me 10 times.

I screamed in pain. It felt as though a kitten was being attacked by a merciless wolf. "Stupid girl. I asked you to scrubbed the floor and all you do is lazing around," yelled my mother.

She pulled my hair really hard and dragged me to the execution room. She threw me in the execution room like a lifeless corpse and shut the door real tight.

I hugged my knees. The execution room was freezing and stony. It felt as if someone had died here recently.

I shook in fear and cried. Tears begin to fall out from my beautiful blue eyes. I saw the tiny window.

It was the majestic sunlight. It looks happy to shine as bright as a diamond.

I felt the sun ray. I feel a warm welcome from it. I close my eyes and meditate.
