• Differences between therians and otherkin •
A therian deals with earthen animals. Any animal big or small. Even bugs. And they identity and connect with their theriotype extinct or alive.
Otherkin is any creature that is out of this world or otherworldly.
But all therians are otherkin, but not all otherkin are therians.
Don't let this confuse you.
Otherkin is an umbrella term that is covering or including therianthropy. So all therians are otherkin, but not every otherkin believe they identify as an earthly animal. Like a square is a rectangle, but the rectangle isn't a square.
