THAT DAY FINALLY came when you woke up from your little bubble and took notice of lil' ole me.
"Ally, right?" you asked looking at me directly. I was quiet surprised. You barely talk to anyone after that day. And even after almost everyday that I spend here with you and Jude to help you, did you socialize with me. You were always staring into space. Almost as if you were just a body with no soul, with no voice.
So I was left there. Staring back at you like an idiot. And then, you chuckled lightly.
The chuckle that I would have killed to hear before. Before?
'I'm sorry for the passed few days. And thank you both for bearing with me." You then added.
I still couldn't find my voice to speak, so I just smiled and nodded my head in acknowledgement.
I don't know where the butterflies were supposed to be. It just seemed normal? I was a little unaffected, unlike before, I would've swooned if I just heard you talking.
So, what changed?
So I just waited for Jude to finish with the popcorn. Than deal with my messed up thoughts.
