Harry's POV

It was our last day of suspension.

I didn't want to go back to school yet and I knew Draco didn't either.

"So...what did you want to do today?"

The blonde glanced over at me. "I dunno... What are our options?"

"Well we can't leave...so all we have is this room." I shrugged.

"Well- we could try practicing some magic and play around with our bond."

I felt a surge of excitement and grabbed my aching head.

We both groaned at the same time.

"Sorry." He frowned at me.

"Remember how I warned you about rushing into my head?" I frowned.

I felt a wave of guilt hit. "I said I was sorry."

I sighed. "It's okay. I'm just explaining why that happened."

"Well...why exactly is your mind like that?"

"I dunno. It might have to do with my scar..."

"Ah. Ok." Draco nodded, immediately understanding the other unknown variables that applied to my corrupted mind.

"Alright. So magic."

"Yes?"

Let's start small and work our way up.

"Hmmkay."

I grabbed my wand out of my satchel while Draco got up to retrieve his from our bedroom.

Once he had returned, he arched an elegant brow. "What are we starting with?"

Do you tweeze your eyebrows?

Yes. Is that a problem?

N-No. I was just wondering.

I cleared my throat. "We will start with a levitation charm..."

Draco snorted and shook his head.

Are you serious?

Yes! We shouldn't do anything too big until we can gage our range of power...

"You're supposed to be the reckless one."

"Yeah? Well I was actually supposed to be a Slytherin, so kiss my ass."

His eyes widened. "No!"

"And you know I'm not lying."

He screamed before smacking my shoulder. "HARRY!"

"What?"

"How could you." He started to get teary and I shook my head.

"Eh. It doesn't change anything." I waved off his sudden misery. "Being a Gryffindor doesn't necessarily mean we're reckless... Just look at Mione."

"She's a violent brat."

"And you're a spoiled asshole."

And you're a irritable prick who survived a curse that should have killed him.

I glared and he instantly stiffened. "Nice to know how you feel about me, Draco."

"Don't act like you didn't just insult me yourself." He frowned. "At least I didn't say it."

"Yeah, but you thought it."

"Well typically I can think things and not have to worry about someone else's feelings."
