'So you are Jake's slave' Kate said to me as I was finding a dress for myself.

'Yeah' I said to her

'Let me get straight on the point, Jake is going to choose me for the first dance at the coronation ball, so don't waste your time dreaming' She said to me

'What ball?' I asked her

'You don't know?' She asked me

'No' I said

'After the coronation of a prince or princess in Auradon, A coronation ball takes place in which the Prince or princess,

choose a partner at the ball for the first dance, the tradition says that,

whoever is chosen is the true soulmate of the coronated prince or princess, well you didn't even know about it so it is obvious he won't choose you' Kate said to me

'Well I am not in love with Jake, so I don't care' I said to her

'Oh, then their is no reason to hate you, choose your dress and take it, I am going to go then' Kate said and left

As loud as I said that I am not in love with Jake,

My heart yelled back at me, that it's a lie,

whenever he is around I feel comfortable, when he is not I think about him and only him,

when he touches me I never want him to let go,

I love Jake,

'I love Jake' I said to myself, but who am I kidding to he is a vampire Prince and I am a human slave.

I looked some more dresses, then stopped at one, it was a sleeveless cream colored one, I picked it and went to Jake's room,

When I reached his room, I knocked and he opened the door, but OMG!, he was standing in front of me, shirtless

He looked so hot and irresistible, every single bone in my body wanted to feel him,

and now that I had realized I loved him, it was difficult to resist,

But I swallowed my wild urges, and brought myself back on earth,

I focused on his face, ignoring the rest

'I found a dress' I said to him smiling, but still blushing

'Show me' he said, and I handed it over to him

We walked in, after looking at the dress, he looked at me and smirked,

'Why did you choose, this one?' he asked me still smirking,

Why is he smirking?

'I loved the color' I told him and his smirk widened

'Sweet' he said to me and handed me the dress, still smirking

Why is he smirking?, then it hit me, cream, the color of my dress is his favorite color,OMG!!!

He thought that I chose the dress to please him, maybe I did but I can't let him know that

'So' he said still smirking, sitting on the couch

'Tell me why you really chose that dress?' He asked me

'Because, its my favorite color' I said to him

'No, your favorite color is blue' he said to me

He caught me, damn it!, but it's difficult to lie when he is looking so hot

'Because I liked the design' I said to him

'Oh really?, a girl who does not wear a tank top, can wear a sleevless, corset top gown' he said to me smiling

God, he loves to embarrass me well two can play the game,

I walked to him, with a flirty expression on my face and sat on his lap, and hovered a hand on his chest

'Well you caught me' I said to him looking in the eye, smirking, and in a second he blushed, it worked

I stood up, and smiled at him, letting go the flirty expression

'You love to embarrass me, right?, well two can play this game' I said to him and sat on the bed

He stood up and walked to his desk, picked up a shirt and wore it and then picked up a plate and walked to me

'Don't worry I will get even' he said to me and sat beside me, holding the plate in his hands

'Here, eat' he said to me giving the plate to me

I took it and started eating, Jake looked at me and smiled

'What?' I asked him,

'You look cute when you eat' he said and put a strand of my hair behind my ear.

We looked at each other for a minute or two and Jake didn't remove his hand, No Emily resist it,

this can't happen, my head told me and I tore my gaze from his eyes and looked away, and he removed his hand

I saw a look of disappointment in his eyes but this can't happen. So I changed the topic,

'Can I ask you something?' I asked him

'Yeah, why not' he said to me with a small calm smile

'I saw, you were uncomfortable around Kate, Why?, she is your girlfriend' I asked him

'Yes I am uncomfortable around her' he said to me

'Why?' I asked him,

He looked at me,

'I will answer if you will answer' he said to me,

'Okay, ask anything' I said to him

'Why were you crying in the balcony, yesterday looking at your pendent?' He said pointing at my pendent

I looked at my pendent and my eyes filled with tears, but I held them back

'It's better to show you' I said to him and removed it from my neck.

Note: so the coronation is tomorrow in Auradon
