Rivers poured off eyelashes
Beads of water releasing from trembling eyelids
It's wrong, he remind himself
Boys don't cry
And yet the thought made even more
Acid tears flood his glossy retinas
The beating contraption,
Caged under his itchy skin
Has been aching for far too long
Oh god
What was so wrong with him
What error did God put in his code
And where was the red wire to pull
To self destruct
Cause god, if he couldn't be perfect,
Why the hell should he even be at all
And everything that led to this moment
As he sobs into his sinking mattress
Played as a supercut across his brain
She denied his love
Shattered his entire will to live, to love
And god dammit he'd still give her everything he was
Even if he was just flaws
And when anyone else asked why
The answer given was simple
He loves her because he has no one else to
