We started off like waves//fast & reckless
We continued like sand//everywhere, and in everything
We ended like the sun// bright & captivating
We started off as the waves//sinking back & leaving fast
We continued as the sand//sinking, and lost in everything
We ended as the sun//sinking into darkness, until there was nothing.
