I've had mine for a couple months now, I'm still in the healing process. They hurt a lot, like a 4/10 for the first and 6/10 for the second, but it doesn't last long at all. They're a bit sore for a week or 2 after (be wary of seatbelts lol). I mix up sea salt water in shot glasses and soak them once or twice a day for 8-10 minutes and rinse them with distilled water. If you use sea salt, make sure it's not iodized. The healing process has gone smoothly for me so far, just be gently with them and take extra good care of them and you'll be fine!
Edit- I had mine done horizontally.
