It's been a difficult week so far. We started our finals on Monday and it's like Beck is a ghost. I briefly managed to see him before our papers when he picked me up but then we got lost among our friends.
I just want those secret moments that last between us and no one else around. I want to hear his laughter and stay up until one of us falls off to sleep. It's reckless and perhaps the fact we are starting our 20s mean that those moments won't be as frequent as before.
I can still wish for them.
I feel like I might be needy, but Beck has been switching off his phone more lately. It's like we went from speaking on the phone every night to sporadic replies from him. The stress of a degree better be worth it in the end.
I miss him.
