I heard the front door and ran downstairs to check who it was

"Hey" Liv let out a weak smile as she came in

"Hi"

"Happy.. Birthday Addy"

"Mhm" I sighed "Thank you"

"I actually just had to drop these off" She put the groceries on the counter "But I gotta go now"

I turned around and went back into my room

A few hours had passed and I decided to call Corpse

Rae, Sykkuno, Toast, Ludwig and I were in a car on our way and so were Sean, Lily and Brooke behind us

We stopped at a gas station and everyone bought snacks, expect for me

All I could do was think about her reaction of seeing me

"Corpse, you good?" Sean sat down in the passenger seat while the others were still in the shop

"It's a bit overwhelming, you know"

"What is?"

"Everything to be honest.. One month ago I was just playing video games with her and now I'm literally in a car to meet her"

"You don't have to come along if you're not ready" He reassured

"But I'm never going to be ready, Sean" I sighed, leaning my head back "That's the goddamn problem"

The car went silent for a minute until Sean finally spoke "Then-"

"Could I be alone for a second?"

I was once again left alone with my overflowing thoughts and emotions

The only thing I wanted to do at this point was just yell but nothing came out

I grabbed my phone again and stared at the "call" button but Rae, Syk, Toast and Lud entered the car again

"Corpse we got you some chips"

"I'm good, thanks" I mumbled

"You haven't eaten anything though" Rae added

"I'm fucking good!" I yelled

Everyone stopped talking and the car ride was completely silent

"Corpse-" Lud started but Sykkuno gave him a 'No' look

Rae stared back at the other 3 asking for someone to talk

"We were just worried about you" Toast said

Everyone stared back at me, waiting for my reaction but I just stressfully tapped the wheel with my finger

Ludwig let out a sigh and went back on his phone
